Teacher Grants

Each year, privately-funded grants are awarded to Marshall County teachers to provide financial assistance for special projects and/or materials that will enhance the learning environment.

 

Lewisburg, TN— 03/21/2025 — The Marshall Education Foundation has announced the recipients of the 2024-2025 Teacher Grants.

The foundation was able to award seven teacher grants for the 2024-2025 academic year. These teacher grant funds will go toward projects that each teacher submitted for review by a foundation committee.

  • The recipient of the Linda Bussart Memorial Teacher Grant for 2024-2025 is Jennifer Tucker with Marshall County High School.

  • The recipients of the First Commerce Bank Teacher Grants for 2024-2025 are Dwayne Cook with Marshall County High School and Rebecca Blout with Forrest High School.

  • The recipients of the Rotary Club Teacher Grants for 2024-2025 are Marie Kilpatrick with West Hills Elementary and Erin Glass with Cornersville High School.

  • The recipients of the Marshall Education Foundation Teacher Grants are Laura Carter with Forrest High School and Kim Higgs at West Hills Elementary.

Through funding from donations, grants, endowments, and trusts, the Marshall Education Foundation facilitates or administers student scholarships, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Advisor, and Teacher Grants.
